how to start the slimserver daemon
to start the slimserver daemon on a unix-based machine, try:
>sudo /usr/local/slimserver/slimserver.pl --daemon
i keep forgetting how i get computer stuff working (my memory is about as robust as a geriatric's bladder). this blog will be like adult diapers for my brain.
