i keep forgetting how i get computer stuff working (my memory is about as robust as a geriatric's bladder). this blog will be like adult diapers for my brain.
i'm currently a phd student in computational and systems biology at mit. i have a girlfriend (christina). the christina and i live in sunny east cambridge.
after installing debian and apache2, i kept forgetting where httpd.conf lived.
it's here:
/etc/apache2/httpd.confinterestingly, in apache2, it seems that apache2.conf is where most configuration settings reside; apache2.conf will automatically load whatever's in httpd.conf. (i can't seem to remember there being an apache.conf in apache1.)
